Whether you’re an avid hiker or just enjoy a nice leisurely walk in the beautiful outdoors, there are plenty of trails for you to wander! SW Queen Anne Greenbelt, 5 min drive


This city park offers a natural forest setting with native wildlife via walking & biking trails.


Loop Trail, 10 min drive


This is an excellent hiking and running trail in Discovery Park. It’s well shaded in the woods for the most part, but the view opens up at the central meadow, where the trail is exposed. The trail has a very modest elevation change so it's suitable for most people.


South Beach Trail, 10 min drive


This is one of the steeper trails in Seattle is off the Loop trail and can get you down the bluff to the beach and lighthouse. It's a challenging section with some flights of steps and the trail conditions may worsen depending on the weather. The views on this trail are worth the effort you’ll put in.


Arboretum Waterfront Trail, 20 min drive


This 230-acre park features a botanical garden, fishing areas, several canoe and kayak landings, and plenty of hiking trails, including the unique Arboretum Waterfront Trail. a floating walkway that puts you on top of Lake Washington. The floating trail leads you through a maze of lily pads from Foster Island to Marsh Island and across to East Montlake Park (or vice versa).


Capehart Forest, 9 min drive


This beautiful and surreal hiking spot feels like you're in a forest wonderland.
